Admission to Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh College of Law is competitive. Selection involves an entrance test (BMSCLAT) followed by a personal interview. Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria (like passing the 10+2 with 45% marks) is necessary but doesn't guarantee admission. Final admission is based on merit and subject to approval from Bangalore University or Karnataka State Law University, depending on the course.

Candidates must pass the MH-CET Law exam in order to be admitted to St. Wilfred's College of Law, Panvel's LL.B. and integrated law programs. They must then personally deliver their application and necessary paperwork to the college.  A graduation degree with at least 45% of the possible points (42% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST students in Maharashtra) is required to be eligible for the three-year LL.B.  A minimum of 45% in HSC is required for the five-year integrated law programs (40 percent for reserved categories).  Information about postgraduate law programs is not yet available.
