J.K. Institute of Applied Physics and Technology Allahabad offers admission to B.Tech. programme on the basis of performance in JEE Main, the national level entrance conducted collectively by the IITs. For B.Sc. programs, selection is done on the basis of performance in qualifying examination, i.e. academic merit. Candidates must have a pass at the 10+2 level from the Science stream to be eligible to apply then candidate can apply the institute application form and counselling then take the admission

Allahabad University cutoff for the PG courses including MSc is based CUET PG scores followed by the release of round-wise merit lists. As per the Allahabad University cutoff 2024, the last round cutoff score for MSc in Math was 129 for the students belonging to the General AI category. For the OBC category, the CUET PG cutoff score for the same course stood at 108. Candidates can refer to the table below to view the category-wise CUET PG cutoff scores for admission to the MSc course:

Shuats prefer FIFO system, which means first come first out, so if your rank is good and within 400 then you can easily get B.Tech Agriculture, B.Sc Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy Technology, Food Technology.

But if you have rank more than 400 then it may be little difficult to get admission in these stream because of ICER quota and many other quota.

Secondly if you want to take admission in any other field like Mechanical, Electrical, CS, IT, Production Engineering then rank between 2000 to 3000 is enough.

Mainly all the rush are on Agriculture and Food related courses else are not that much in demand.
