IIIT Allahabad has not announced the placement statistics for the year 2023. However, as per the last placement data, IIIT Allahabad recorded a 100% placement rate for BTech and PG courses. The highest and average packages offered to BTech students stood at INR 125 LPA and INR 30.68 LPA, respectively. For PG (MTech / MBA) courses, the highest and average package stood at INR 60.5 LPA and INR 19.57 LPA, respectively. Although, according to some media reports, the highest package offered during IIIT Allahabad M.Tech placements 2022 stood at INR 1.4 crore per annum from Google.

The eligibility criteria for the M.Tech course at IIIT Allahabad is that the candidate must have a BTech/ MSc in an allied discipline from a recognised university/ institute with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ST candidates) or equivalent. The course is available in four main specialisations. The M.Tech specialisations are Information Technology, Data Science and Analytics, Bioinformatics, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Admission to the M.Tech course at IIIT Allahabad is based on scores in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), followed by CCMT counselling.

Students can apply for the Merit Cum Means scholarship at IIIT Allahabad through the official website. To be eligible for the scholarships, candidates must have a cumulative average of SGPI for two semesters only per year, which should be equal to or above 8.50. Also, the annual income of the candidate should be less than INR 5.00 LPA. Up to 3% of the total students enrolled in the programme will receive this scholarship. Students will receive INR 36,000 per year through this scholarship.

Motilal Nehru Medical College, Allahabad will release 5-6 rounds of NEET PG cutoffs for admission to MD. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:
