Selection to the BTech programme at IIIT Allahabad is done on the basis of JEE Main for Indian candidates and DASA for international candidates, followed by the JoSAA counselling process. The JEE Main last round closing rank has been announced. Candidates refer to the table below to know about the current and previous years BTech cutoff:

- Since classes don’t impose much burden on you and are usually over by 2 p.m. you have ample of time to invest wisely on yourself. If you want to go for judicial services, invest that time in preparing for that. If litigation interests you, you can start learning through internships in district court or High Court.
- The place is nice and affordable. 3 years law course fee is minimal and that of 5 years law course is comparatively lesser than other colleges offering the same degree. Hostel and mess charges are also reasonable.
- And of course, you get a degree from central university!

The annual charges of hostel is approximately 14500 rs including mess. Hostels rooms are available in single as well as sharing with a large room depending upon the rooms availability during allotting.

During placements in 2022, the highest domestic and international packages offered in IIIT Allahabad to BTech students were INR 1.21 crore per annum and 1.25 crore per annum, respectively. MNNIT Allahabad - Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:
- The JEE Main score of the candidate
- The category of the candidate
- The number of seats available in the course
Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.
