For 2023, the cut-off was 5924 for General category candidates in the All India quota for BTech in Information Technology in IIIT Allahabad - Indian Institute of Information Technology. For female candidates in the general category under the All India quota, 10585 was the closing rank. BTech cut-off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

IIIT Allahabad cutoff ranks 2023 for BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at other than the General category are - 16196 for OBC, 47662 for SC, 113622 for ST, 11747 for EWS, 331 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut-offs also change a lot depending on the All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the general category under All India, the opening rank was 8428 and the closing rank was 9558. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even the domicile of the home state. Admission to BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at IIIT Allahabad - Indian Institute of Information Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut-offs.

Selection to the BTech programme at IIIT Allahabad is done on the basis of JEE Main for Indian candidates and DASA for international candidates, followed by the JoSAA counselling process. - Since classes don’t impose much burden on you and are usually over by 2 p.m. you have ample of time to invest wisely on yourself. If you want to go for judicial services, invest that time in preparing for that. If litigation interests you, you can start learning through internships in district court or High Court.
- The place is nice and affordable. 3 years law course fee is minimal and that of 5 years law course is comparatively lesser than other colleges offering the same degree. Hostel and mess charges are also reasonable.
- And of course, you get a degree from central university!

The annual charges of hostel is approximately 14500 rs including mess. Hostels rooms are available in single as well as sharing with a large room depending upon the rooms availability during allotting.
