Based on the last three years of Andhra Pradesh EAMCET trends analysis at GATES Institute of Technology, B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the most desirable specialisation among the students belonging to the General HS quota. Analysing the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET cutoff trends for over three years, B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering witnessed a fluctuation in its last-round closing rank. The closing cutoff of the course was 71103 in 2024. In 2023 and 2022, the cutoff ranks of the course stood at 47035 and 48745, respectively.

The official marking scheme for the BIT MCA entrance test has been released online. For each correct answer, one mark will be allotted. No negative marking for incorrect answers. Since there is no negative marking, candidates should attempt as many questions as possible to boost their chances of scoring well on the test.

The total exam duration of BIT MCA entrance test is 120 minutes. The question paper will include 100 multiple-choice questions and no extra time is going to be given to the candidates to finish the paper.
