As per last year's record, candidates need to score at least 520 to 575 marks to secure a seat in Bihar Government Medical colleges. BCECEB releases state merit list based on marks in NEET exam. Candidates included in the merit list are eligible to participate in the counselling process.

Instead, BRABU conducts entrance exams for admission to most undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and the merit list is published within one month of the application process ending. Candidates with national entrance exam scores like CAT, MAT, XAT, etc. are given preference. The university declares the selected candidate Merit-list, and the qualified candidate can take admission.
