 Lalit Narayan Mithila University conducts PAT for accepting admission to the programme in September, every year. However, candidates with a valid UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ GATE score or teachers of LNMU and its affiliated colleges or non-teaching employees of LNMU with over five years of working experience are exempted from PAT and are granted direct admission provided that they fulfil the PhD eligibility criteria.

LNMU BTech admission is offered on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Combined Admission Test, conducted by the University. It is a 135 minutes test comprising 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The test comprises 50 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Shortlisted candidates are further called for counselling-cum-seat allotment round.

The ranking of NOU is as follows :

'The Week' Hansa Research Survey 2018 as 4th.

National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2019 as  66th.

This is year, it is accredited for NAAC Ranking that will be announced in December.

IIM Bodh Gaya has not officially released the hostel fees. However, from unofficial sources, IIM Bodh Gaya hostel fee is approximately INR 30,000 the fee includes food, laundry, internet, and security. The hostel facilities at IIM Bodh Gaya are excellent. The hostels are well-maintained and have all the necessary amenities. The hostel rooms are equipped with beds, mattresses, study tables, chairs, and cupboards. The mess is located inside the hostel building. Each hostel wing has separate washing machines and water coolers. All hostels (girls and boys) are well connected through WiFi, and each room has a LAN connection as well.
