No companies visit the campus to hire E-MBA students. But, through off-campus placements, students to get placed at various top companies. Some of the companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, etc. The highest package offered is INR 22 LPA and the average package is around INR 3-4 LPA.

Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Patna is slightly costlier compared to other engineering colleges in India. The B.Tech fee for the whole programme amounts to about INR 2.95 Lacs in the first year and thereafter is around INR 1.46 Lacs to INR 1.60 Lacs per annum. The M.Tech programme is charged at about INR 2.31 Lacs per annum. Such overhead hostel and mess facilities increase additional costs, so it will be very important for aspirants to consider their economical status before applying to the BIT Patna.

The universitys admission exam and merit list establish the cutoff for Patna Women's College's PGDJMC (Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication) program.
