IFMR offers good placements for its MBA course annually. In 2023, the institute recorded 100% placements for its MBA cohort of 2021-23. A total of 55 recruiters participated in the placement process and placed all 184 students in new-age job roles. The highest and average package offered during IFMR placements 2023 stood at INR 22.90 LPA and INR 13.50 LPA, respectively. The top recruiters of IFMR MBA placements in 2023 included Barclays, Deloitte, Wells Fargo, EY, HSBC India, Morgan Stanley, NOMURA, TVS NEXT, Societe Generale, Axis Bank, Cognizant, Accenture, JPMC, etc.

MJR College of Engineering and Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| UG Diploma | Candidates should have passed S.S.C. Examination (Class 10th) conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS. such as CBSE, ICSE, NIOS, A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Candidates belonging to NIOS/APOSS/Other Examinations recognised as equivalent to SSC by A.P. Govt. should have passed all the subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% marks in each subject. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in April/ May-2023, and whose results are yet to be declared can also apply. There is no age restriction. |
| M.E./M.Tech | Candidate must have passsed B.E./B.Tech. in relevant stream and obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates) from an AICTE/UGC approved institution recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto. Final year appearing students may also apply on provisional basis. |
