As per the latest research on external sources, we have found that DIT Deradun alumni are placed in top national and multinational companies such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, EY, KPMG, etc. They work in various sectors such as Engineering, Operations, Business Development, Marketing, Sales and more. Of all the sectors, 37% of alumni work in the Engineering sector. Additionally, 15% and 12% of alumni work in the IT and Business Development sectors. The detailed sector-wise alumni placement record is shown below:

DIT University has released the mean package for the year 2024. The overall mean package in 2024 was 5.76 LPA. Also, the mean package recorded during SOET, SOC, School of Management and School of Pharmacy was 4.2 LPA, 6.26 LPA, 4.5 LPA and 3.2 LPA.

DIT University Dehradun offers good placement to its students. As per the report 2024, the overall mean and median package offered was 5.76 LPA and 5.16 LPA. The highest package was 44 LPA. The overall placement rate recorded was 64.18%.

As per the School of Computing placement report, the placement rate recorded for the School was 62.3%. The highest and median package offered was 44 LPA and 6 LPA in 2024. 110 companies visited the campus as well.

We should not compare the two; both the universities are good at their place. But as a student of LPU I would like to say LPU is best because in India LPU is one of best private university. Its ranking, placement, education, infrastructure and diversity make this university one of a kind.
Ranking: - LPU comes under top 100 amongst all private and Government University. This Dear year what shook me the most is the resent ranking by the world’s university ranking again amongst all government and private university.

alumni is placed in the Business Development sector with 15% of students hired from this sector. The Alliance University MBA placement report for the academic year 2024-2025 is yet to be released on the official website. Once it is released, it will be updated on this page. However, over 800 recruiters participated at Alliance University Bangalore in the placement process 2025 and presented over 8,000 job offers to the students of the batch 2025.
