Ashoka is a liberal arts university. DU offers courses in all streams. There are certain points to consider. If you are getting Tier1 colleges like LSR, Stephen's or Hindu etc. Then skip Ashoka. If not, then for subjects like History, English Sociology, Psychology or Political Science, Ashoka is a good choice. But if your ultimate goal is to prepare for civil services then DU will be better.
