To get your degree from IGNOU you have to pass all the assignments, exams, and practicals of your course. The minimum passing marks at IGNOU are as follows:
1. To pass a written theory exam, you need to score 18 marks out of 50 for the undergraduate course.
2. For a postgraduate course, you need to score a minimum of 20 marks.
3. To pass your assignment in any course, you need 40 marks out of 100.
4. To pass the practical exam, you need to score 40 marks.

To get your original degree Certificate from IGNOU you have to register for its convocation. The steps are as follows:
1. Complete your assignment, project, and exams to be eligible for a degree Certificate.
2. Fill out your convocation registration form as soon as the dates are announced, which are monthly in February and August.
3. Once you have filled out the convocation registration form, you will be invited to participate in convocation at the IGNOU main campus to receive your degree.
4. You will receive your degree Certificate by post in case you miss the convocation.

Yes, an MBA from IGNOU is considered valid. The Indira Gandhi National Open University IGNOU is a recognised open university by the UGC. Many MBA aspirants who cannot go to a regular management college due to their job or any other reason prefer to do their MBA at IGNOU. If you have work experience, top hiring companies value the IGNOU MBA degree. IGNOU course content is on par with that of top management colleges, and you have the opportunity to do an internship like at other management colleges. The percentile depends on year to year according to difficulty level and the number of appearing candidates so its difficult to say what rank will you end up on if you've got 65%. .
