With this percentile there are very less chances to get into a good NIT but you can still try other private institutions and universities.

If you are having a good percentage that is required to meet the cut-off you can easily get into any one of the top colleges of Delhi University. Even with much lesser percentage you could actually get into any one of the college of Delhi University. Kindly wait for the cut-offs.

No, There is no specification like that for most of the courses. But, having mathematics is a requirement to get into courses like economics mathematics and other subjects.
