Hello Divyanshu, actually your query appeared to me to be a little cryptic. Okay. I will still try to answer your query. Now the issue of "conduct their own paper", I feel you mean to ask as to who will conduct exam or who will set the question paper. Right? It is invariably the university which sets the question paper and all colleges affiliated to it conduct the exam on behalf of University and send answers given by students to be university for further evaluation. As can be seen, the question paper will definitely change from university to University but it will be same for all the colleges under one university. I hope I have answer

You can check the topic wise syllabus over different platforms for the same. But knowing the syllabus and preparing it is totally different. If you are confident enough that you will be rigid to your commitment and regular to your studies, then very well. There are a lot of study material and video lectures available throughout the internet.
But if you have any doubt regarding your self preparation then, I would suggest you to join any coaching or institute as they will compel you for regular studies and concentrate on your preparation.

Obviously IIMC. Other colleges are nowhere close to the reputation of IIMC. It is the most premium mass communication college in India.

See, if you are from general category then you can't be able to get admission in this college but if you are from SC/ST, then you might be if there are vacant seats in the spot round of the counselling.

See for the CS in Thapar University you can get at a score of 150+ but for DTU you need to get 175+, for outside Delhi students it will around 160+.
