The Central Universities Act of 2009, which founded the institution in 2007, was passed by the Indian Parliament. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has granted recognition to the university. The Central University of Gujarat, often known as CUG, received a "B+" mark from NAAC for accreditation. The university has 11 schools 22 Centres, one autonomous Centre, and 66 programmes of study. NIRF 2023 has placed CUG 44th among India's leading universities. Admission to the University is dependent upon passing the entrance test, as CUG has decided that CUET will be required of all applicants.

The admission is based upon a cut off criteria thus cross check the cut off for your preferred course. While it is difficult to get it through score of 16K you may apply to multiple instituitons at the same time.

If you are asking for CSE in NIT then let me tell you, you got very good rank. You just need to fill your choices in JoSAA. I think you can get NIT.
