The institute accepts CET results for admission. Admission to the B.Sc. programme is determined on the HSC score's merit. The candidate must have achieved passing grades in Science, Home Science, Commerce, Arts, or MCVC with English as one of the subjects, or the equivalent H.S.C. (Std XII) examination administered by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education. Minimum of 50% overall for candidates in the open category (45% overall for candidates in the reserved class who are solely Maharashtra State residents).

IMI Delhi has a high ranking according to NIRF as compared to IMT Ghaziabad. The IMI Delhi also has high rankings and reviews from students as compared to IMT College.
