National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Gorakhpur admission process begins with registration. The institute releases the application form online for all programmes. Admission to O and A Level courses is based on NIELIT Entrance Exam scores. GATE is considered for admission to M.Tech programme of NIELIT. For certificate and Diploma programmes, the selection is based on merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam.

Candidates only require GATE if they are applying for National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Gorakhpur M.Tech programme. However, aspirants can apply for M.Tech even without GATE by providing institute or university level exam scores. The instiute conducts NIELIT Entrance Exam for O and A Level courses. For all other programmes, selection is merit-based.

AIIMS Gorakhpur is one of the newly opened AIIMS. Students should aim to secure 600+ in NEET to secure a seat at the institute. Althought the institute is relatively new, as it is part of the AIIMS, the competition is quite high. With limited seats and increasing competition, it can be quite a challenge to get into the MBBS course offered at AIIMS Gorakhpur. The fee for MBBS at AIIMS Delhi is INR 6,100.
