Madan Mohan Malaviya University is one of the best Colleges in Uttar Pradesh. As far as placement in civil engineering is concerned it's good but not better than CSE. But you will be definitely placed if you have command over your subjects.

KIIT is better than MMM, Gorakhpur but I will suggest you to join MMM because it is also a good college.
