Mangalmay Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) is generally regarded as a Tier 2 institution. While it has received regional recognition, such as being ranked 15th for Engineering by the Amar Ujala & IMRB International Education Survey and holding a 'AAA' rating from Business & Management Chronicle, it does not feature prominently in national-level rankings. Therefore, MIET is considered a reputable regional institution, but not among the top-tier engineering colleges in India.
