HIMT has a world-class pre-sea training campus in Kalpakkam, TN. The faculty are very well experienced and they trained us well. Overall, my experience at HIMT campus was very positive.
Students come to study in this college all over India as well as neighboring countries.
The college is known for marine engineering courses.

According to official placement report, a total of 367 students pursuing PGDM courses participated in the placement process and the placement rate recorded during BIMTECH placements 2023 was 100%. Earlier, more than 400 eligible students participated during placements 2022. According to unofficial sources, the alumni are primarily working in the Business Development sector (29%). The other top sectors that involve the majority of alumni are Sales and Operations with 24% and 18% shares, respectively.
