International Maritime Institute does not provide any direct scholarships. Course fees at IMI can be quite high. If you have a good rank in the IMUCET (Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test) and a decent board percentage, obtaining a loan is quite easy. But you must also explore other platforms that offer scholarships. International Maritime University in Chennai also offers scholarships.

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks. Candidates age should be less than 25 years at the start of training. Eyesight should be 6/6 (with or without external aids), and no color blindness.
