No, JEE Mains exam is not mandatory for Admission. Univesity has two criterias one is via JEE Mains and other is the GEEE (Galgotias Engineering Entrance Exam) which is conducted by Galgotias University itself every year.

If you want admission in Galgotios College, then you have to apply for UPSEE exam but if you wants admission in Galgotios University, then you have to apply for GEEE exam.
