It can so of happen that one Institute is better on some parameters while the other Institute is better on other parameters. Depends on the user to decide which parameters one is looking for and then select the institute. Here there is a similar story. Soil Institute offers MBA of a duration of 12 months which is recognised by AICTE and the fees are about ?15 lacs. These are perhaps the factors which are in favour of this Institute. In the case of Masters' Union the course duration is of 16 months and the fees are almost rupees 38 lacs. In addition it is not recognised by either AICTE or UGC. But on the other side the average CTC that the students obtained is to the tune of rupees 35 Lacs while for Soil Institute it is about 15 lakhs. Another thing to consider is that Soil Institute has an intake of about 480 students while Masters' Union accepts just about 60. The selection procedure of both these institutes is almost similar with few exceptions. 

Aall in all, I feel Masters' Union is a better choice since it boasts of average CTC of rupees 35 Lacs which is much superior to the average that students of soil Institute get. But then getting admission looks rather tough, since there are only 60 seats as compared with almost 500 seats in the Soil Institute.

GD Goenka University is a comparatively young but rapidly gaining recognition university.
