In 2025, University of Mysore climbed -15 ranks to #101 rank in the 'Overall' category by the NIRF ranking.
It has been seen that within the category of 'University', the institute's ranking has fallen when compared with the previous year's ranking. In 2025, University of Mysore fell 17 ranks to #71 rank in the 'University' category by the NIRF ranking. This is the second consecutive year that the institute has slipped in the rankings.

NIT Jamshedpur only accepts applications online. Students have to apply at the entrance test site followed by counselling registration. There is no provision of applying offline for NIT Jamshedpur admissions.
