To get admission in PG courses the applicant must complete graduation with a valid score in the relevant stream. The final selection is based on TANCET scores, followed by counselling. Students can apply online as well as offline for admission in preferred courses.

Both the institutes offer the MBA programme for two-years. Admissions in both universities are based on CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT scores. The MIT Shillong also accepts state entrance exams.
