L D College of Engineering admission is entrance-based. The selection is based on national/ state level exams, followed by counselling process. The accepted exams are JEE Main/ GUJCET for UG admission and GATE/ PGCET for PG admission. Students must be eligible to get admission.

Aspirants with Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Class 12 can only apply for BE Environmental & Sustainability and BPharm courses of BITS Pilani Hyderabad campus. For all other BE specialisations, PCM is required. Aspirants must pass BITSAT for admission in BE and BPharm courses.

Aspirants applying via BITS HD Online Test need to pay INR 3,600. The application fees for candidates applying via GATE scores is INR 1,000. Candidates can pay this fees via any of the online payment modes.
