Yes, BMC is a very good course for students who want to become news anchors or TV reporters. It teaches students with the skills in public speaking, news reporting, and on-camera presentation.

IIT Ropar hostel fees vary for different courses. For last year, the semester-wise hostel fee for B.Sc. and B.Ed courses was INR 31500. This is valid for new admissions only till December last year. Details regarding the same are tabulated below:

Yes, IIT Ropar has eight hostels, six for boys (Satlej, Beas, Sindhu, Mercury, Jupiter, and Neptune) and two for girls (Ravi, Venus) to house approximately 3000 students. IIT Ropar is a residential institute; therefore, all the students are required to reside in the hostels. All the hostel rooms are spacious and have all the basic furniture, such as a study table, chair, cupboard, single bed, etc. The rooms are allocated on a single and double occupancy basis.
