Admission to BTech course in Sri Venkateswara University is based on entrance. Candidates should qualify in either the EAMCET for regular admission or ECET for lateral admission. Merit secured in these examinations alone is used for selection. Candidates who meet both eligibility and entrance requirements are the ones considered for final admission.

To gain admission to Sri Venkateswara University's BTech program, the candidate should have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Students who have vocational courses in Engineering and Technology from the boards of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana are also entitled.
