Yes, with 79% in 10+2 and 88.64 percentile in JEE Main, you have a good chance of getting admission to B.Tech at LPU. The usual eligibility requirement is around 60% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, which you already meet. Your JEE Main score can also be considered for admission and possible scholarships. You can apply through the online admission process, and the university may also allow you to appear for LPUNEST if required for admission or scholarship benefits.

With 96% in 12th, you are eligible for both B.Tech CSE and B.Tech (Hons.) CSE at LPU. The main difference is that the Hons. program includes additional advanced courses, research work, and specialized subjects in areas like AI, data science, or cloud computing. In terms of placements, companies generally consider students from both programs equally, since recruitment mostly depends on skills, coding ability, projects, and interview performance. The Hons. option can give deeper academic exposure, but placement opportunities are largely similar for both programs.

Yes, you still have a good chance of getting admission in B.Tech CSE at LPU even if you did not qualify JEE Main. With 83.6% in intermediate, you meet the basic academic eligibility for the program. LPU also offers admission through LPUNEST, so you can apply through that route if JEE did not work out. Your board marks are decent, and LPUNEST can also help you become eligible for a scholarship depending on your performance.

For CSE students at LPU, many IT and technology companies visit the campus for placements each year. Some commonly seen recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, Capgemini, HCL, and Accenture. Apart from large companies, several startups and mid-size tech firms also hire students for roles like software developer, data analyst, and system engineer. The university also organizes internships and placement training, though getting selected in top companies usually depends on the student's coding skills, projects, and interview performance.

Yes, pursuing CSE from LPU can be worthwhile for students interested in software development and technology fields. The program covers important areas like programming, data structures, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and machine learning, along with practical lab work and projects. Students also get opportunities to participate in coding competitions, internships, and industry workshops. The university provides placement preparation through training and practice sessions, though final outcomes depend largely on a student's skills, projects, and consistent effort.

If you are from West Bengal, choosing LPU for B.Tech CSE can still be a reasonable option because the university has students from many different states across India. This diverse environment helps students interact with people from different backgrounds and build a wider network. The CSE program offers exposure to coding, projects, internships, and placement preparation. However, it is always a good idea to compare fees, distance from home, and placement records with good private colleges in West Bengal before making a final decision.
