SAIMS adopts the calendar of RGUHS (Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences). The result declaration is done on both the SAIMS website and the university portal. The accuracy in the result processing is about 95%. Ninety per cent of students clear the examinations in the first instance. Revaluation and re-examination are allowed for the students. Academic calendar: July to June.

SAIMS faculty is highly qualified and has 200 plus members out of them 75 % have completed post-graduation and 40% have a PhD. About Scholarship – SAIMS provide scholarships to students on a merit basis and also on a need basis but not full scholarships. Scholarship categories: A – Merit (10-20% tuition waiver) B – Government scholarships SC/ST/OBC, C – Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). Eligibility: GPA, NEET rank result, family income. Scholarship amounts: UG courses INR 50,000 to 1 Lacs per year, PG courses INR 1 to 2 Lacs per annum Scholarship @ 20%. Average scholarship value: INR 75,000/year. Total scholarship outlay: INR 1.5 crores per year The student population is largely economically fragile, and 90 per cent of students require scholarships, loans, and fee exemptions.
