The food quality in the Chameli Devi Group of Institutions hostel mess is generally considered good and hygienic. The mess is hygienic and offers a variety of dishes at an affordable rate. Students seem to appreciate the quality and taste, with some even stating it's better than other college messes.

The faculty at CDGI are generally well-qualified, experienced, and student-oriented, especially in core and tech streams like CSE and AI/DS. While most students appreciate their doubt resolution skills and practical teaching approach, a few gaps persist in faculty consistency—largely dependent on department.
