You should not expect a 4.5 lacs+ package from any RTU AFFILIATED institute. I was allotted JECRC last year through RPET and you would be surprised to know that there are 60k seats for engineering in Rajasthan, out which 55k students filled form for the RPET 33k students appeared for the exam and 11k examinee actually got themselves admitted into the colleges allotted by BTER and out of those 11k ,1050 examinees chose JECRC that is approximately 10%. The basic eligibility for admission to any of the B.Com. programs is a pass in Higher Secondary School examination with Maths and English as core subjects. However, different universities release cut-offs. Cut-offs largely depend on the performance of students in the 10+2 exams and the number of qualified students applying to the course.
