NIFT lateral entry admission (NLEA) is the process through which candidates can secure admission directly in the third semester of UG courses offered at NIFT campuses. Eligibility criteria for NLEA Candidates should have passes Class 10th/ 12th from a recognised board and 3/ 4 years Diploma from AICTE/ AIU/ UGC/ SBTE. The admission are based on the written test, Studio test and Interview conducted by respective NIFT campus. The NLEA registration window of NIFT Jodhpur was open 31.05.2022 and the seat allotment was done on 30.06.2022. So the NLEA admission process of NIFT Jodhpur is almost completed.

Hello! Kishor, firstly I want to congratulate you for scoring such handsomely in your 12th standard CBSE examination. NIFT entrance examination is Institutional based examination which will only help you to get into NIFT whereas UCEED is a common Entrance Examination which is accepted by many design colleges and universities. So if you plan to get into only NIFT then you do have to give NIFT Entrance Exam but if you plan to apply in many universities then UCEED is a better option as you'll have many university choices and you can get admission on the basis of UCEED score.

Both IIT Jodhpur and IIT mandi are equally good in terms of academics. IIT Jodhpur has good placement records and every year both of these broke their own record of placement. Both the IIT have just geographical location difference. If you like winters and hilly areas then IIT mandi is good choice.
