Karnataka University 2024 admission notification has not been released as of now. The admission notice will be published on the university official website. The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will soon begin the Karnataka PGCET counselling- option entry. Check out the Karnataka PGCET important dates.

The eligible candidates can apply by filling out the KUD application form. The admission form can be downloaded from the Karnataak University official website. The dully filled application form is further required to be submitted along with the bank acknowledgment of application processing fee and entrance test fee payment has to be submitted to the Chairman/Coordinator of the concerned department. The complete application form should be sent by post within the due date.
Furthermore, candidates wanting to apply for more than one course need to submit an application form separately.

Karnataka Univesity admission is entrance-based. Candidates have to take the department entrance exam and secure a good score to get admission. For MBA and MCA, admission is through Karnataka PGCET followed by counselling. Candidates with a low score may get admission under the management quota. However, this information is as per an unofficial source and hence, is indicative.

The passing marks for Karnataka University varies from one course to another. It also varies every year as the cutoff depends upon factors like number of candidates, the highest marks in the exam, seat intake, etc. In 2021, Karnataka PGCET cutoff for MBA admission was 7905, which was competitive than 2020 (21232). However, for MCA, Karnatak University PGCET cutoff (overall) dropped from 2784 in 2021 to 4128 in 2022.

Karnataka University course admission process vary depending upon the programme level. Admission to the PG level courses is entrance-based. Aspirants have to appear for the department entrance exam followed by counselling round for selection. While admission to the UG courses offered by KUD-affiliated colleges is merit-based. According to some sources, the Central University of Punjab (CUP) is less expensive than other universities in India. The average annual fee for courses at the Central University of Karnataka (CUK) is approximately INR 59,587. General category students pay Rs. 50,000 per semester at CUK. However, SC/ST students are exempt from tuition fees if their family's annual income is less than Rs. 6 lakhs.
