The SJCC BA selection criteria does not include an entrance exam. The admission is based on the merit list released by MGU following its Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). Aspirants just need to make sure that they apply for CAP timely and meet the eligibility criteria. An applicant must have passed Class 12 to be eligible for BA admission at SJCC. If a candidate wants to get admission under the management quota, they must have scored at least 65% in Class 12 to be eligible for admission.

SJCC fees for BA courses are cumulative of multiple components, such as tuition fees, hostel fees, etc. Some fee components are charged one-time, while some have to be paid semester-wise or annually. Yes, St. Joseph College of Communication (SJCC) offers BA in six specialisations. These specialisations include BA in Multimedia, BA in Animation and Graphic Design, BA in Sound Design and Visual Editing, etc. The duration of BA at SJCC is three years. However, if the students want to pursue an honours degree in the BA specialisations offered at the college, they will have to complete the four-year programme and earn additional credits. The degrees for all the BA courses is awarded by the Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) as the college is affiliated with it.

SJCC has not released course-specific placement data. However, the NIRF report 2024 is available on the official website of the college. As per the NIRF report 2024,  the median package offered during (UG 3-year) placements in 2023 stood at INR 3.09 LPA. 144 students were placed out of a total of 192 students during SJCC's UG (3-year) placements 2023. The placements and salary package vary across the different BA courses/specialisations.

SJCC offers a BCom in Finance and Taxation through its department of Commerce. After pursuing BCom at SJCC, graduates can build a career as an Auditor,  Cost Accountant,  Income Tax Officer,  Tax Consultant,  Budget Analyst,  Finance Manager,  Accountant, GST Consultant, etc. They can also join the sectors of education, banking and other financial services. Graduates can also pursue a PG programme like MCom, MBA, CA, CS, etc.  

The curriculum of BCom at SJCC is evely spread over a period of three years. Each year comprises two semesters. The programme aims at providing students with a thorough understanding of taxation systems and financial principles. Additionally, the college offers various multi-disciplinary and value-added courses in fields like filmmaking,  animation, design and VFX.
