When taking admission in FISAT, regret is not an element as the college provides good education to students. The Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT) is a self-financing private Engineering college that was established and promoted by the Federal Bank Officers' Association Educational Society (FBOAES). Federal Institute of Science and Technology was established in 2002 and is accredited with an A+ Grade by NAAC and NBA  (National Board of Accreditation). Hence, the college tries to maintain the quality of education.

The course fee for the Kerala University is comparatively affordable. For the BTech course, the fee ranges between INR 45 K and INR 3 lakh. On the other hand, for the MTech and MBA courses, the fees ranges between 53 K and 8 lakh,  respectively. Kerala University fee structure is a combination of a number of components, such as tuition fee, hostel fee, medical insurance, mess and other security deposits, etc. Out of all the fee components, there are a few components that are charged one-time by Kerala University.

Kerala University releases the provisional rank lists considering the marks secured by the candidates in their respective qualifying exams and entrance exam scores required for that particular programme. Kerala University accepts the score of KMAT KERALA,  CMAT,  CAT,  MAT,  KMAT, and KEAM for admission to various UG and PG programmes. To appear in an entrance exam candidates need to meet the respective eligibility criteria to apply for any of the programmes. To qualify the entrance exam, candidate need to meet the minimum cutoff score for that particular programme.

The fees for the B.E./B.Tech programme at MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram, varies based on the admission category. For merit seats through the KEAM entrance exam, the annual fees range from 30,000 to 75,000, depending on the branch. For management or private seats, the fees are higher and approximately 1,00,000 per year. Over the 4-year program, the total fees would range from 3,00,000 to 4,00,000 depending on the category.

Here are the closing ranks for the B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering and B.Tech. in Food Engineering courses at Kelappaji College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology (KCAET) for the 2023 KEAM exam:

B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering: Round 1 closing rank was 11,325 and the last round closing rank was 15,570

B.Tech. in Food Engineering: Round 1 closing rank was 18,665 and the last round closing rank was 22,563 

To be eligible for admission to KCAET through the KEAM exam, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Have at least 45% marks in aggregate and in each class 12 subject

Pass the KEAM exam

The tentative date for the publication of KEAM 2025 scores is June 2025. The tentative dates for the release of the engineering rank list and the facility to submit and verify 10+2 marks are also July 2025. 

The KEAM 2025 exam will be held from April 24 to 28, 2025. The registration process is expected to begin in January 2025.
