The placement statistics for the academic year 2021-2022 show that many top recruiters participate in the placement drive program. Some of the top companies that have recruited from the university include IBM. The university offers placements and internship opportunities to its students, and the placement cell organizes various guest lectures, training programs, and sessions to make the students employable. The Department of Management Studies of the university is also currently inviting companies to conduct campus drives and recruit talented students for various job roles.

To accommodate a diverse candidate pool, SCMS Cochin School of Business uses a dynamic cut-off system for its PGDM programme that is adjusted annually. When taking the CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, or KMAT, the minimal percentile needed for entrance consideration is represented by the cut-off.
These were the cut-offs for the 2023 PGDM program:
60 percentile in CAT
65 percentile in XAT
60 percentile in CMAT
55 percentile in ATMA
65 percentile in KMAT
The 2024 PGDM program's cutoffs are anticipated to fall between 2023 and 2024; however, they have not yet been disclosed.
