The overall rating of NIELIT is 4.4, with Work-Life balance being rated at the top and given a rating of 4.4. However, Job Security is rated the lowest at 3.6. NIELIT Delhi Centre offers training programmes in the fields of Information Technology, Electronics, Multimedia, etc. As of now, NIELIT Delhi offers long-term and short-term courses in the areas of IT, Electronics and allied disciplines. The DOEACC Delhi Centre (NIELIT Delhi) is approved by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Also, NIELIT offers scholarships under the Protsahan Puraskar Scheme for SC, ST, differently-abled and female candidates. 

NIELIT has currently 04 Boy's hostels functioning in the campus, built based on contemporary architecture. The hostels are named after the "Industrial Professional Hostel (IP Hostel), P.G. Hostel, Swami Vivekananda B.Tech. Hostel and Diploma Hostel Each of these hostel-blocks has well-ventilated rooms designed to accommodate students on shared occupancy basis. The hostel rooms are furnished with cots, study-tables, chairs, cupboards and bookshelves, enabling comfortable stay and to ensure a learning conducive environment. Each floor has common washrooms with modern sanitation facilities. Hygiene and cleanliness of the rooms, floors and surroundings are taken care of by routine house-keeping services.

The amount of the hostel fee and the security deposit due upon check-in will occasionally be stipulated. When applying for admission to the hostels, students must pay the applicable fees to the institute's accounts section. For the duration of the course or one year, whichever comes first, fees must be paid in full. The specifications of the current fee are as follows:

APJ Abdul Kalam Hostel (Boys): Rs. 1600/- per occupant per month [3 occupancy]
