No, MHT CET is not the only entrance exam accepted for BTech at KIT College of Engineering. Eligible candidates can appear and qualify for JEE Main entrance exam. All the JEE Main qualifiers will be exempted from appearing in MHT CET. Moreover, such candidates can register for CET Counselling process for the final seat allotment directly.

The admissions for B.Tech in D.K.T.E. Society's Textile and Engineering Institute were made with the conductance of MHT CET 2024 from April 16 to April 30, 2024, with a scheduled date on May 2, 2024. The result of this examination is usually announced within 2-3 weeks from the date of conducting the exam. The result falls typically from mid-May to June. As for the validity of the MHT CET scores, it is valid for one year.
