It depends on the course in which the student is interested. Rustamji Institute of Technology offers only Btech, MCA, MTech, and Diploma courses. The basic eligibility criteria for each course require the student to have a minimum of 45% in the previous qualification. Along with this, the student needs to have a minimum valid score in MPPET, GATE, or JEE Main/ MP BE exam and their respective counseling, for admission to MCA, MTech, and BTech courses, respectively. Students who belong to the General AI category need a JEE Main rank of at least 15078 or below to be eligible for admission at IIITM Gwalior for any BTech branch. This is as per the IIITM Gwalior JEE Main cutoff 2026 for round 1.

Whether you are not able to secure a seat in NIT Bhopal in BTech, you can think of other NITs, IIITs or state colleges. Or you can redo JEE Main next year also. There are also a number of good colleges that provide education on engineering. Have other alternatives to be in pursuit of your target.

No, direct admission in all the courses in NIT Bhopal does not take place. Admissions will be purely on basis of entrance examination at the national level. BTech needs JEE Main, M.Tech using GATE and MCA using NIMCET. Even MBA needs CAT, MAT or the likes.

NIT Bhopal last date of admission varies according to the exam and counselling date. In the case of BTech, the last date depends on JoSAA, according to the results of JEE Main. In the case of MBA and PhD, the institute posts particular deadlines on their website.
