Yes, Asia pacific University (APU) accept Malaysia MUET ( english testing of malaysian university), which includes MUET on demand (MOD) option. Their is a recognised english language proficiency test for admission in to many malaysian universities and also in other universities including MUT, MOD and APU.

Life on-campus will be better than staying off-campus. It will give more integrated and convenient experience compared to living off-campus. You can have more interaction with peers and faculty.
Living On-campus will give you more time to study. You can have your classroom on walking distance.
It will be secure to love On-campus. But It can be compromising due to its cost.
Most of students in university chose to live On-campus.

Comparing the colleges, for a B.Tech degree, AIMST University is relatively better. IIT Guwahati is one of India's top engineering institutions; it does well across various national rankings, including the NIRF rankings. Also, its curriculum is relatively strong and provides good faculty and placement opportunities, as average salaries for graduates with B.Tech in IIT Guwahati are approximated to be INR 22.5 LPA.
