I feel there is no constant figure for selection. There are factors like academics, excellence in extra curricular activities, work experience along with cat score. But I guess 70 percentile would be good for admission.

MDI Murshidabad is a good business school with a great brand value of MDI and accepting applications (for now) with a low CAT score. At present, its ranking may not be jaw-dropping, however, within a few years, it should slowly and steadily emerge as India's preferred business school. The highest package of 12 LPA and the average salary of 9.05 LPA. MDI Murshidabad is also becoming a favorite among recruiters, especially in the East. During PGPM 2017-19 placements, there was a 64 percent rise in the number of new recruiters visiting the campus.

MDI has two branches. One in Gurgaon and another one in Murshidabad while BIMTECH has only one branch that is in Noida. If it had been BIMTECH vs MDI Gurgaon then I would say surely to go for MDI Gurgaon but if you compare BIMTECH with MDI Murshidabad then it's totally up to us which one to go for as both the colleges have the almost same experience and similar Average CTC being offered. I would say if Noida is nearby to you then go for BIMTECH and if you live in Bengal then go for MDI Murshidabad.

MDI Murshidabad will be better compared to IFIM Bangalore. Although IFIM Bangalore is an older institute and promoted by Dalal Street Investment Journal (DSIJ), it hasn't been able to grow successfully over the years that too is situated in a city like Bangalore. Whereas MDI-M is promoted by IFCI (Industrial Finance Corporation Of India) and comes under the flagship MDI brand and is getting enough support from the parent institute I. e. MDI- Gurgaon. The college follows the same pedagogy as the parent institute and several faculty members come down from the Gurgaon campus on a regular basis to teach certain topics on the second campus.

This college provides 100% placement. You may consider joining this college. The curriculum is the same as MDI Gurgaon. The placement record is 100% and some top recruiting companies are PwC, Deloitte, TCS, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Aditya Birla Capital, Byju's, Salesforce, OYO Room, and Anarock. Also, it does have a brand value.
