KSOU Mysore offers approximately 420 courses in various specialisations to students at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD levels. All these programmes are approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). For KSOU Mysore admissions, candidates need to apply online by visiting the official website. Moreover, the application fee for all the undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate courses is INR 300. Further, the documents required at the time of admission include Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, UG mark sheets (if applicable), Passport-size photograph, Birth certificate, and Qualification certificate attested by any Gazetted officer. Also, admission is based on merit.

KSOU MBA programme is All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved and other programmmes of the university are also approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Moreover, it is a two-year full-time programme and KSOU University MBA admission is based on candidates' performance in the last qualifying examination. Additionally, the total number of seat intake is 10,000.

KSOU is a state public Open University and was established by the act of the State Legislature in 1992, and was brought into force on 1st June 1996. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university is also approved by the DEC and AICTE (for MBA courses). It has a total of five schools namely The School of Humanities, The School of Social Sciences, The School of Commerce & Management, The School of Sciences, and The School of Education.

There is nothing particular like the best course at NIE. They treat all courses as equal. All facilities empower your knowledge.
But yes if you are asking in the perspective to the placement then IT sector obviously has more scope just like other colleges but also NIE is more famous for its Mechanical department also.
You have wider scope in artificial intelligence and machines learning also as there are 2 campuses of NIE. These courses which are newly introduce will give you a better scope in future.
