The probability of securing admission into B.E CSE at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering with KCET rank 1,68,468 stands at an extremely low level. As a private institution backed by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) the college demands high cutoff ranks. For B.E CSE at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering the admission cutoff rank previously fell between 30,000 to 50,000. As per NIRF Rankings 2024 for the Engineering category, NIE Mysore's BE programme ranked #193. Earlier, in 2023, the institute was positioned #151-200 under the same category. Upon comparing both year's rankings, it can be said that the institute has been able to maintain a stable position.

Both NIE Mysore and R V Institute of Technology and Management are good options to pursue BE. However, in terms of affordability, NIE Mysore is more affordable since the tuition fee to pursue BE at NIE Mysore is INR 2.83 lakh, and the tuition fee to pursue BE at R V Institute of Technology and Management is INR 11.26 lakh.

Dear aspirant,
The fees for the BE Programme at the National Institute of Engineering, Mysore, is different for different categories of admission. For government quota under KCET, the fees are around 1 to 1.5 Lacs per year; for COMED-K quota, it is around 2 to 2.5 Lacs per year; for management quota, though it is higher, the fees perhaps also vary depending upon the branch. Other possible costs may include hostel fee, examination fee, etc.
