The Government Medical College and Hospital in the Aurangabad city is considered one of the famous medical colleges in the state of Maharashtra. The college is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences MUHS. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and Diploma programs under various specializations. The current intake at the college for UG courses is 150 whereas, for PG programs, it is 155 per year. Along with UG and PG, 50 are admitted to B.Sc. Nursing and 120 are admitted to BPMT every year. Admission to the courses is done on the basis of marks secured in the national level entrance exam i.e. NEET.

• To be eligible for an MBA (full-time), candidates must have finished their undergraduate studies in any discipline or have earned an equivalent degree from an accredited university.
• Most educational institutions follow the standard or comparable minimum score criterion of 50% for graduation. For students in the reserved group, a 45 percent overall score is necessary.
• If they can provide proof that their degree was achieved within the institute-specified time frame, final-year candidates for graduation may also apply for an MBA.
