VSURAJ admissions are merit-based. The university considers the qualifying exam scores of the aspirants. Candidates have to pass Class 12 for admission to UG courses whereas, graduation marks are required for PG programmes. Once selected, aspirants need to report at the campus and confirm their seat by paying the course fee.

No, Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication (SCMC) admissions are not merit-based. Students wishing to join the institute need to appear for the entrance test i.e., SET conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU) followed by an online Personal Interaction. The merit-based scholarship at Jagannath University, Haryana for BBA 2025 aspirants is based on percentage scored in the qualifying examination (Class 12 or equivalent):
Students with above 90% marks receive a 35% tuition fee waiver.

Vidya Prasarak Mandal's Institute of Management Studies offers merit-based admission to the PGDM course. To enrol in this course, candidates are required to complete their bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Additionally, for admission confirmation, the college releases the merit, according to the applicants' achieved scores in their bachelor's degree/ last qualifying examination. As of now, only merit-based admission is valid for PGDM at Vidya Prasarak Mandal's Institute of Management Studies.

No, KEA will not consider marks obtained in the qualifying exam while preparing the Karnataka PGCET merit list, also known as the rank list. Only the marks scored by a candidate in the Karnataka PGCET exam are used to allot a merit position. However, candidates will have to meet the minimum percentage requirement in their qualifying exam to be eligible for admission and for the merit list preparation. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility conditions are not included in the PGCET rank list.
