The campus size of the university is in 670 acre offering 815 courses across 12 streams. It has a total faculty of 75 members providing full time and distance learning courses.

The life at sambalpur University is so good because it is suitated in district of odhisa . Because it is very beautiful place and the campus has a very good infrastructure. It is spread over 780 acres of land. Sambalpur University is A Grade by NAAC and is UGC recognised.
It is also affiliated to 140 plus universities. This college is ranked as 21 under NIRF university ranking.

Candidate can join Sambalpur University by National Level Entrance Examination with a minimum 10+2 eligibility criteria.
For MBA admissions minimum eligibility criteria is MAT, CAT, TANCET, XAT, ATMA, Karnatka PGCET and many more.
For Bsc admission a student has to give NCHMCT, JEE, TSBIE etc
and for MSC admissions here in this college a studnent can give GAT, ISC etc

The placements for Sambalpur University is very good.
71 ug students got placed and 798 pg students got placed.
The median package offered was Rs 2.8 Lakh per annum and in PG it was 6.6 Lakh per annum.
If we compare the placement rate of 2021 with 2022 both years was almost same.

Central University of Orissa has no permanent building for classroom and laboratories. 24x7 wifi facility is available. Placements in university are less than 50%, but compared to other universities in Orissa it is better. The teaching faculty is good and very helpful to the students.Central University of Orissa seems to be a good institution for learning, but it does not provide placement opportunities. The campus is beautiful and the course curriculum is good. The professors are helpful and the management is excellent. According to information available on various websites, undergraduate graduates of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) get a good package during the placement season. However, integrated master's students will also try to work outside of school. Placement varies from branch to branch; Most branches in District Court and CSEs get 100% placement. Some of the companies that have visited the campus for internships include TCS, Infosys, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Tata Power, MCL, Steel Plant, L&T, Maruti Suzuki, Deloitte and Cisco. Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) accepts the following entrance exam scores for admission to the Master's programme:
1. Entrance Exam for 5 Year Integrated Undergraduate Course + Master's Program is conducted through VSSUT or OJEE (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination).

The minimum score required for admission to VSSUT 2023 Masters degree varies from course to course and major to major. The eligibility criteria for different undergraduate programs at VSSUT are given below:
1. 2-Year Master's Program: Candidates must have completed a bachelor's degree in the relevant field with an overall score of at least 50%. Accreditation is based on performance evaluation.

Yes, you can get admission an Undergraduate programme from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) with 60% marks in Class 12. The minimum qualification for admission to the VSSUT BSc programme is to pass the HSC examination/equivalent in Physics and Chemistry. The institution also offers B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA and Ph.D. Each programme has its own qualifications and entry requirements.
