MBA/PGDMCandidate must have completed Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute.
45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category.
MCACandidate must have completed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent degree.
Or, Candidate who have completed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute.
45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category.

 Sambalpur university is one of the oldest and most reputed university in Odisha. Sambalpur university offers various courses across both UG and PG .The cutoff marks for sambalpur university is hard to find rather you should go for rank or percentile cutoff.

  • For MBA 92 percentile is cutoff.
  •  OJEE  ranked cutoff was 1lacs 20 thousand for general and 3.5 lacs to10 lacs for SC and 3.5 lacs to 10 lacs for ST student.

cutoff marks can be calculated on the basis of rank and percentile.

Sambalpur university is one of the oldest and reputed university in odisha. IIM sambalpur is quite popular for MBA. Sambalpur university accept different entrance exam for MBA Admission that are AT, MAT, JMAT, ATMA, XMAT etc. and along with this university takea its it own entrance exam for MBA.The minimum cutoff for general category candidate was 92% percentile in CAT along with that 70% percentile in each section of CAT, for EWS overall 70% percentile required with 40%percentile in each section in CAT.

A Big Yes, Studying in public/ Government university is of the best decision in terms of placement and affordabality. Sambalpur university is best as well as the biggest university in sambalpur. As University's name is on city name which indicate how big it will be as this university offers different abd variety of courses in UG and PG.

Sambalpur and utkal university both are government university. Both university are from the oldest university from Odisha.sambalpur university  compare to  utkal university is less expensive . Utkal university is more expensive than sambalpur university let compare there MBA courses. The utkal university fees for MBA is around 50k for 2 years where as sambalpur university is around 25k for 2 years which is just half the fees of utkal university. As university life is better in utkal as compare to sambalpur university.
