Colleges in Pilani

The following scholarship schemes are available for meritorious students in BITS Pilani.
1. Board toppers: Students who have secured the top position in the 12th standard in their respective boards are given a merit scholarship of 50% of the first-year tuition fee. The overall aggregate of the candidate must be a minimum of 90% in the qualifying examination to avail this scholarship.
2. Merit in Qualifying exam : (a) 40% scholarship if students score above 95% in the qualifying exam (12th). (b) 25% scholarship if students score between 90% to 95% in qualifying exam (12th). (c) 15% scholarship if students score between 80% to 90% in qualifying exam (12th).
3. Hostel Fee Concession : Admitted Candidates who have obtained 80% or above in the aggregate of the Qualifying Examination will be offered a 25% concession in the Hostel fee for the normal duration of
the programme (four years).
4. Merit in BITSAT (BITS Online Admission Test) : This scholarship is based on performance in BITSAT exam. The following scholarships will be applicable for first year only on the basis of BITSAT score. (d) BITSAT Score above or equal to 300 : 75% of Tuition Fee (e) BITSAT Score between 250-299 : 50% of Tuition Fee (f) BITSAT Score between 200-249 : 25% of Tuition Fee
The hostel fee concession of 25% will be given to students those obtained above 150 marks in BITSAT.
5. Merit scholarship for continuing students : Students with a CGPA of 9.00 or above on a 10.00 scale at the end of previous semester will be given a merit scholarship of 20% of tuition fee for the current semester for the normal duration of the programme
