PEC Chandigarh is better than NIT in terms of its name and the quality of exposure one gets. NIT has the attractive 'NIT' tag, but there is a good legacy with PEC and the advantage can be seen as it is connected more to the industry. Whereas, NIT KKR has not been able to carry its good name.

The B.Tech admissions in PEC Prakasam are based on ranks obtained in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET. Hence JEE Main scores are not applicable here. The eligibility criteria for Andhra Pradesh EAMCET is class 12th with minimum of 45% of marks (40% for SC/ST). Hence, you have to apply through Andhra Pradesh EAMCET.
